Learning Objectives:
Learners who are developing their information literate abilities will be able to:

  • formulate research questions based on information gaps or on reexamination of existing, possibly conflicting, information;
  • determine an appropriate scope of the research question and identify key concepts;
  • limit the scope of complex research by breaking complex questions into simple ones;
  • examine found information and assess for gaps or weaknesses.
