Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) : Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
The Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses is a statement of the ethical values of nurses and of nurses’ commitments to persons with health care needs and persons receiving care. The Code is both aspirational and regulatory. Nursing in Canada is a self-regulating profession; thus, nurses are bound to a code of ethics as part of a regulatory process that serves and protects the public.
Health Quality Ontario : Quality Standards
Quality standards outline for clinicians and patients what quality care looks like. They focus on conditions or topics where there are large variations in how care is delivered, or where there are gaps between the care provided in Ontario and the care patients should receive.
