Transgender Awareness Week is observed annually from November 13 -19 to raise visibility for transgender, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and gender diverse peoples, and to address issues members in the community face. This leads up to the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20, a day to honour the memory of those who lost their lives as a result of transphobic violence.
Here is a selection of resources that highlight trans stories, history, and voices. For more resources, search Seneca Libraries.
