PEQAB: Phase B: Panel Visit Support (for Initial PEQAB Program Application Site Visits)

Panel Visit and Library Handout (for Initial PEQAB Program Application Site Visits)

A few months after the college has submitted its proposal report for a new degree program, a group from PEQAB will come
for a site visit.
This visit includes a panel meeting (which is generally attended by Joy or Michelle). Information
will need to be compiled and sent to Joy and Michelle so that whoever is attending the meeting can prepare for it.

Follow the instructions below if you've been asked to prepare for an upcoming site visit for a new degree submission.

Step #1: Compile Information for Joy's PEQAB Panel Discussion

In order to ensure that Joy / Michelle will have all of the information needed for the PEQAB panel discussion, email Joy, Michelle, Joanne and Pam a paragraph or two regarding how the library would support the new program, if it is approved (highlighting strengths and weaknesses). Examples of such summaries created for previous Initial PEQAB program application site visits include: Bachelor of Healthcare Management and Bachelor of Commerce (Business Technology Management). This summary is written by the IR liaison for the school that the program would fall under, but the relevant IL liaison should be consulted for information on how the program would be supported in terms of information literacy, if approved.

Repository of Library Handouts (for Initial PEQAB Program Application Site Visits)

Below are handouts prepared by library staff in preparation for initial degree site visits. These visits occur while each proposed program is still being considered for approval.

BEGINNING IN SEPTEMBER 2022, THE COLLEGE'S PROGRAM QUALITY TEAM DOES NOT WANT THE LIBRARY TO PROVIDE A HANDOUT FOR PHASE B SITE VISITS.
