This guide was created to support English Language Institute (ELI) students and English language learners. Use this guide to get started with research and find resources on English language skills. In this guide, you will find books, videos and articles available at Seneca Libraries and online. More research and citation support is also available by scheduling a one-on-one online research appointment, or using the library's Ask Us online help chat.

Databases are organized collections of information. You may not realize it, but you already use databases in your daily life like Netflix, Spotify, and your phone's contacts list. 

The library has a selection of useful databases where you can find credible sources including newspaper articles, books, and videos. Here are some databases to help you get started with your research. For more databases, please see the Research section of this guide.
