What is Technical Communication?


The term "technical communication" refers to various forms of written and visual documentation, including scientific reports, instructions, software manuals, and business correspondence. It encompasses the use of digital tools and platforms for creating and disseminating information, as well as the research involved in producing accurate documentation. Technical writing, a subset of technical communication, extends beyond manuals and specifications to include everyday business writing and the communication of specialized technical information.
