Chemical & Physical Properties

1. Click on the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics link and log into the database.
 

2. Enter the name of the material into the Search Documents box near the top of the screen and click on the Search button:

       

3. From the list in the main results screen:

• For organic compounds, click on the Physical Constants of Organic Compounds link.

• For inorganic compounds: click on the Physical Constants of Inorganic Compounds link.

4. Search for and click on your material in the list that appears.  Refractive Index information will be listed near the top of the entry:
