Contents of AI package

  • Add to a research/citation session - if a library liaison is visiting your class to speak about research and citation, they can also speak to your students about generative AI. Just let us know if you allow your students to use Gen AI and then we can either explain why it’s not appropriate for your assessment, or, if you do allow it, we can discuss how to use it critically and effectively.
  • Standalone Gen AI session - if you would like your students to learn how to use Gen AI more effectively, you can request an 60-90 min session with our Digital Literacies Liaison, Michael Myers. He will cover the what and why of Gen AI as well as the how of crafting prompts and critical evaluation.

Visit our APA or MLA citation guides to review the Seneca Libraries recommendations for citing AI-generated text or images in student assignments.
