Public Company Filings:

SEDAR (System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval)
Access filings submitted by public companies and mutual funds to the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) from January 1997 to present.
EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval)
Access filings submitted by public companies to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from 1994 to present.

NAICS Codes

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is a system for organizing economic business activities of a business for classification purposes. They can be very helpful in identifying businesses for a project. For example, if you are looking for all antique dealers in the GTA, you can search by the NAICS code to get this list. Many of the databases listed in this subject guide have the option to search by NAICS code.
